Module 1 - Laser Safety Officer

1,5 days course:

• Basics in Laser Dentistry.
  
  
• Theoretical information on physics as well as on different laser devices.
  
  

• Tissue interaction, clinical indications, safety issues concerning organizational matters and evaluation of working environment.
  
  
• Legal regulatory.
  
  
• Multiple choice exam.
  
  
• The Curriculum of Modul 1 is certified according to Austrian standard ÖNORM S 1100-2 
  

All participants will receive a confirmation of attendance.

In addition, after successful completion of Module 1 incl. exam the certificate “Laserschutzbeauftragter”  (Laser Safety Officer) is issued  by the “ZAFI - Zahnmedizinisches Fortbildungsinstitut”.

This certificate is available only for:

- dentists registered in Austria

- Module 1 held in Vienna, Austria

For completion of Module 1, participants receive education points. The education points are subject to national regulations in the home country of the participant, i.e. points might be credited depending on the specific regulations in the home country.
